The Big Tap: Historic Bars Tournament

The quest to crown America's Favorite Historic Bar

Welcome to the Big Tap: Historic Bars Tournament, an annual event where we at the National Trust pit 32 drinking establishments from our ongoing Historic Bars series against one another in a raucous, rousing, single-elimination format to become America’s Favorite Historic Bar.

In 2015, Moscow, Idaho’s Corner Club emerged as champion. And in 2016, after a battle royale with bars across the country (including an all-Montana final), a new watering hole claims the top shelf: Club Moderne in Anaconda, Montana!

P.S. This year's bracket may be over, but our tour of bars keep on going. Discover new favorites here.
